We are excited to announce the Creative Nexus: Showcase & Festival, a capstone event organized by our Advertising students. This dynamic three-day festival celebrates student creativity and practical skills while engaging the local community through interactive, family-friendly activities.
This initiative aims to enhance the visibility of UTAR’s Bachelor of Communication (Honours) Advertising program while providing students with invaluable experiential learning and public engagement opportunities.
The festival serves as a platform for final-year students to present their capstone projects and foster connections with the industry and the public.
Highlights include:
Join us in celebrating the next generation of creative professionals!
The Department of Advertising under the Faculty of Arts and Social Science (FAS) is proud to present the Eco-Narratives Art Exhibition 2026. This students' work exhibition highlights the vital relationship between humanity and the environment through creative visual storytelling and themes of sustainability.
In a unique collaboration with AEON Mall Kinta City, our students and lecturers will transform the commercial space into a cultural hub, bridging the gap between academia and the local community.
The exhibition features a diverse range of artistic interpretations and interactive sessions:

The final year advertising capstone project exhibition showcases the creative work of students who have collaborated with real clients under the theme of Health and Awareness. Throughout the project, students developed strategic advertising and promotional campaigns that address relevant health issues, combining research, creativity, and practical industry insights. At the exhibition, visitors can explore a range of thoughtfully designed materials, including print ads, digital campaigns, and promotional concepts, reflecting each group’s unique approach to communicating impactful messages and engaging target audiences.

We are pleased to invite ALL FAS students to our upcoming Faculty Town Hall Meeting, which will provide an opportunity to engage in open dialogue about matters affecting our academic community.
During the session, the Heads of Departments and Programmes will be part of the sharing segment, a Q&A segment where you are encouraged to raise questions, share feedback, and contribute ideas. Your participation is highly valuable in helping us foster transparency, collaboration, and a shared sense of direction. We strongly encourage all faculty members to attend.
Thank you, and we look forward to your participation.
